Get off the scale

I don’t even remember the last time I checked my weight; like a couple of numbers would make a difference to me. For those of you that do worry about small things like that need to read this and change your perception, and stop stressing about it. You are beautiful just the way you are.

“Get Off The Scale!

You are beautiful. Your beauty, just like your capacity for life, happiness, and success, is immeasurable. Day after day, countless people across the globe get on a scale in search of validation of beauty and social acceptance.

Get off the scale! I have yet to see a scale that can tell you how enchanting your eyes are. I have yet to see a scale that can show you how wonderful your hair looks when the sun shines its glorious rays on it. I have yet to see a scale that can thank you for your compassion, sense of humor, and contagious smile. Get off the scale because I have yet to see one that can admire you for your perseverance when challenged in life.

It’s true, the scale can only give you a numerical reflection of your relationship with gravity. That’s it. It cannot measure beauty, talent, purpose, life force, possibility, strength, or love. Don’t give the scale more power than it has earned. Take note of the number, then get off the scale and live your life. You are beautiful!”

Get off the scale! Yes, I agree. Weight is just a number. Weight is nothing but weight. It does not define who a person is. Okay, maybe for some, weight shows beauty and sexiness but for me, it does not indicate beauty and sexiness. If you just have the confidence in yourself, then you’re already beautiful. God made us who we are right now. Everything is planned by God. Be contented with what you are. You are who you are. I am who I am. I am Stephany Ashley Esguerra. I am a girl who is contented with everything she’s got. I am a girl who believes in herself. I am myself. I am me. I am confident to be me. I am proud that others can never be me. I’m beautiful in my own way. I am good enough for myself. I smile, I cry. I make mistakes, I correct them. I have eyes that can see. I have ears that can hear. I am grateful because I am me. I can never let anyone or anything determine who I am. I am me, and only I will know this absolute truth.
